The Bloodflower concept is a fantasy JRPG in third-person view, with turn-based combat, and platform-based open exploration.

  • High Concept Document

defining all the aspects of the concept using detailed examples, or other games as references

  • Combat Feature Document

explaining the rules, the mechanics, and the game loops
of the Bloodflower's combat system

  • Combat Mechanic Prototype

testing the concept's main combat mechanic,
the Bloodshed

Bloodshed mechanic :

When damaging a teammate with an action, this teammate enters in “Bloodshed”,
gaining immediately a bonus turn, but limiting his actions.

In this state, a character can either :

BLOOD SKILL

with an added HP DRAIN effect, with its efficiency linked to DXT stat

HEAL

healing the previously received damage and more, depending on DXT stat
